Colombo National Museum
The Colombo National Museum is Sri Lanka’s largest and most prominent museum, established in 1877 by the British Governor Sir William Henry Gregory. It houses a vast collection of artifacts related to Sri Lankan history, culture, and art, including ancient sculptures, royal regalia, traditional costumes, and other culturally significant items that showcase the island nation’s rich heritage.
